From the moment you contact us we keep you informed at every stage, so you always know exactly what is happening with your car.
Recovery runs during opening hours: Monday - Saturday 08:30 - 17:30, Sunday Closed. Outside those hours, leave a message and we will pick it up first thing.
A mechanical garage that grew a bodyshop
Krause Autos started as a mechanical garage on Tyne Road and has expanded into a full accident repair centre serving Sandy, Bedford and the wider county. A major collision or an annoying scratch both go through the same bodyshop.

If the car is driveable, three photos are usually enough for an estimate. If it is not, ring the office.
2. We recover it if it needs recovering
We arrange for it to be brought to Tyne Road.
3. We deal with the insurer
Estimate, engineer, authorisation. You do not have to chase any of it.
4. Repair, paint, back to you
To your car's paint code, to a timescale we agree with you up front.

There is no list price for accident damage. Send us three photos: whole panel, close-up and number plate. We will come back with a written estimate free of charge.
We do not run courtesy cars. MOTs take about 45 minutes and you can wait. For anything longer there is a key drop, so you can leave the car before we open or after we close.
